Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the products and services offered by Vastaya ("we", "us"), a business operated by Brady Cole as a sole proprietor in the United States. By purchasing a product, adding the Purple Dice bot to a Discord server, subscribing to a premium plan, or using this website, you agree to these terms.

1. Our products

The Complete Budget Planner is a Google Sheets template sold as a digital download through Etsy. Etsy's own terms and policies also apply to those purchases.

Purple Dice is a Discord bot that reads character sheet PDFs you upload and rolls dice from the values in them. Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines apply to your use of Discord, including your use of the bot inside it.

Product descriptions on this site are provided in good faith. We may change, add to, or discontinue features over time.

2. Licenses and what you may do

When you buy The Complete Budget Planner you receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the template for your own household budgeting. You may make copies for your own use. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or publish the template or a derivative of it, whether free or paid.

Purple Dice is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use within Discord. You may not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the bot or its services.

3. Premium subscriptions

• Premium features for Purple Dice are offered as a monthly subscription. Prices are shown at the point of purchase.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details. Stripe's terms and privacy policy apply to the payment itself.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; premium features stay active until the end of the period you already paid for.
• Refunds are handled as described in our Refund Policy.
• If we change a subscription price, we will tell you before the new price takes effect, and you can cancel before it applies.

4. Your content

Character sheets, spreadsheet data, and feedback you submit remain yours. By uploading a character sheet to Purple Dice you give us permission to process it so the bot can work. We do not claim ownership of it and do not use it for anything else. See our Privacy Policy for what we keep and for how long.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use our products to break the law, harass people, or violate Discord's or Etsy's rules. Do not upload files that contain malware or that you do not have the right to share. We may suspend or remove access for users or servers that abuse the service.

6. Third parties and trademarks

Vastaya is an independent studio. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord Inc., Etsy Inc., Google LLC, Stripe Inc., Wizards of the Coast LLC, or the authors of MPMB's Character Record Sheet. Their names and marks belong to their owners.

Purple Dice uses game mechanics from the System Reference Document 5.1 under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. It does not include or reproduce non-SRD rules text.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Our products are provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to make them reliable, but we do not promise that they will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose. The Complete Budget Planner is a planning tool, not financial advice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vastaya will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product in the twelve months before the claim arose.

9. Termination

You can stop using our products at any time. You can remove Purple Dice from a server, cancel a subscription, or ask us to delete your data. We may suspend or end access for violations of these terms, with notice where practical.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our products change. The effective date at the top shows the current version. Material changes affecting an active subscription will be communicated before they apply.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Utah.
